ITC METAL has a modern galvanizing line with its own sewage treatment plant. The line is powered by natural gas and liquefied gas, as well as solar energy and heat pumps
The company also runs a 2-hectare plantation of Hedera Helix ornamental ivy, which is constantly developing. In addition to its decorative properties, ivy is also exceptionally beneficial to the environment. This plant absorbs carbon dioxide and produces oxygen, which contributes to the improvement of air quality in the area. What's more, the plantation is irrigated with rainwater collected from the surface of the company's buildings, which additionally increases the company's sustainable energy balance.
The company also has its own composting system, which processes bio-waste. This compost is used to fertilize plants on the ornamental ivy plantation, which allows for a closed circulation of organic substances.
The company's car fleet consists of hybrid cars, which consume less fuel and emit fewer harmful substances. The energy management system is used for efficient heating of rooms, which allows for minimizing energy consumption. Ventilation in the company's buildings uses a recuperation system, which allows for the recovery of heat from exhaust air, which allows for reducing heating costs.
The company provides its employees with water in glass bottles, which are more environmentally friendly than plastic packaging.
